As you might have heard already, unfortunately we have to cancel the start-up event due to insufficient sign-ups. We want to thank everybody interested and hope to see you another time at an HCSA event.
On the 28th of September, the HCSA’s career committee, together with Career Service,s will organize a start-up event for everybody who is interested in sustainable social entrepreneurship. This event will not only give you an inside into the process of starting your own business, it will also give you the opportunity to network with sustainable businesses.

Robbert Kelder (KPN Consulting) is going to give a workshop on KPN and start-ups crazy enough a logical combination.
Workshop description:
KPN as corporate is not the first party you think of when you think about startups. In the Netherlands, however, you see more and more startups working together with corporates to learn from each other and to make each other successful. Robbert Kelder will show you how corporates look at startups, what is important for investments and how you can benefit from this with your (future) start-up.
Arjan de Boer, the second speaker, will discuss and demonstrate pitch-training.
These presentations will be followed by workshops from several start-ups (FoodDrop, Beeton, and WoodWatch).
The University of Groningen, Center of Entrepreneurship’s Silvia Dos Santos Fernandes Costa is going to give a workshop on Exploring your Entrepreneurial Skills.
Workshop Description:
How do entrepreneurs recognize opportunities? How can we learn from them? How can we apply entrepreneurial skills in our careers? Why is it important to be entrepreneurial? In this workshop you will learn how entrepreneurship is a mechanism to recognize opportunities and create value. Entrepreneurial skills are very important in different aspects of professional life and can help you bring meaning to your job.
We will end the event with a networking drink with beer from local brewery Martinus!
This event will be from 12:30 until 18:00 at ‘De Pijp’ Boterdiep 69-1, Groningen. Tickets are €7,50 for HCSA members and non-members that enroll before the 25th of September. Non-members who enroll after the 25th of September will have to pay €10. Tickets include free drinks and snacks all afternoon. Sign up through the form on this page.
