Description

Have you ever felt like despite living in Groningen for so long, you’ve never truly known it? This is now your chance! The HCSA Lecture Committee is planning a lecture specifically on the topic of European Architecture History with the focus on Groningen. We want to take you on a journey to go beyond what is typically taken for granted in our everyday life: our city, its building, and its history. What are the stories behind the canals we cycle past every day, the university buildings we study in, the Martinitoren, or even the supermarket buildings that we buy our groceries in? Prof. Dr. Cor Wagenaar who specializes in history and theory of Architecture will take us on a journey to see the development of architecture history in Europe with a special focus on Groningen, followed by a Q&A session.

This is your chance to get to know Groningen more! Join us on Thursday 13, 8pm for a fun evening of architecture, history, and falling in love more with Groningen!
