Description

Feeling overwhelmed with your studies lately? Want to learn a key tool for stress reduction? On this lecture, we will explore how mindfulness meditation is a highly effective tool for managing stress. We sometimes hear meditation being described as vague, woolly or spiritual. We can show you that there is an actual science behind meditative practices. We have invited Prof. Marieke van Vugt, who holds a PhD in Neuroscience from the University of Pennsylvania, to give a lecture on the science behind meditation. She travels to Asia yearly to study none other than Tibetan Buddhist Monks, one of the absolute masters in meditation. Do you want to know more about the science behind meditation? Don’t miss this great opportunity, and come to our lecture on the 29th of November (Tuesday) at 19:00! The lecture will be held at room 1314.0026 of the Harmonie Building. See you all there!

Entrance is FREE!
